He was predeceased by: his father John F. Scarpinito. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Scarpinito (Lauritano); his girlfriend Lucille Lamoriella; his daughters, Susan Scarpinito of Brooklyn and Anne Holmquist (Jake Holmquist) of Chappaqua; his former wife Jeanne Bergman; his grandchildren, Johnny, Henry and Nora; and his siblings, Joseph Scarpinito (Eleanora Lee Hroncich) and Frances Barberi (Michael Barberi). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scarpaci Funeral Home (1401 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Anselm RC Church (356 82nd St, Brooklyn, NY 11209). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
