We announce the death of Judy Williams (Brooklyn, New York), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 74. Judy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Spencer and Lula Mae Spencer; her husband Elder Asher Williams; her brothers, Prentice Spencer, Robert Brown, Horace Spencer and William Green; her niece Danesha Spencer; and her stepmother Doris Spencer.
She is survived by: her nieces, Cassonia and Theresa; her daughter Dori Wilson (Thomas); her granddaughters, Yazmin Wilson and Yavette Wilson; and her siblings, Mechel Spencer-Banks, Delores Clemons, Joyce Linyear (Dwight), Jennetta Spencer, Shelia Johnson, Shelby Jones (Jonathan), Early Spencer (Patricia), Ervin Spencer, Bernard Spencer, Jeffrey Spencer and Derrick Spencer. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home, Inc. (1 Troy Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213-1129).
