He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Fox and Marie Fox; his brothers, Peter Fox and Stephen; his sister-in-law Florence Fox; and his nephew Peter John Fox Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Madeline Sturges; his daughter Karan Simoneau (Fox); his son-in-law Joseph Simoneau; his grandchildren, Ryan and Drew Simoneau (Madeline); his stepchildren, James Sturges (Nicole), Daniel Sturges (Kristen), Timothy Sturges (Kim) and Maggie Driscoll (John); his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, Timothy, Seamus, James and Ava Sturges; his sister Marie McGrath (Fox); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Fox (Rice). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many family members.
