He was predeceased by : his wife Marie Joy Nelson; and his parents, Josephine Nelson and James Nelson. He is survived by : his children, Paul Nelson (Cassie) and Christine Marie Cribb (Jackson); his grandsons, Matthew and Steven; his sister Joyce Cassidy (John); his nieces and nephews, John Cassidy (Grace), Colleen Geary (Timothy), Brian Cassidy (Mariana), Christopher Cassidy and Catherine Gerrety (Michael); his sister-in-law Felicia Gironda (Chana); and his girlfriend Maria Melendez.
