It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter LaVeglia (Brooklyn, New York), who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Johanna LaVeglia; his siblings, Connie and Phil Mauro; his siblings-in-law, Angelo Cavallo, Frank and Hiromi Cavallo; and his siblings' children, Austin Mauro, Evalina Mauro, Kento Cavallo, Kaito Cavallo, Nicole Mauro, Robert Rossiter and Philip Mauro.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D'Arienzo Funeral Home (104 Skillman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Cecilia R. C. Church (84 Herbert St, Brooklyn, NY 11222).
