He is survived by: his siblings, Hilda Ventour and Lundgren Peters; his sister-in-law Bridget Peters; his children, Shemeka Brathwaite and Richard Anthony Peters, Jr.; his son-in-law Ezra Brathwaite; his grandchildren, Makayla Peters, Ahria Joseph, Elias Brathwaite, Eden Michael Brathwaite and Aa'mara Peters; his nieces and nephews, Francisca Okosun, Florence Okosun, Frank Okosun and Wayne Webster; his close friend Dalton Pinnock; and his former wife Myrtle Peters. He is also survived by two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
