He was predeceased by: his son Robert Magwood, Jr.; his mother Ella Magwood; and his sister Dorothy Magwood. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda S. Magwood; his children, Nicole Kohles (Steven), Karnellia F. Magwood, Ryan Magwood (Michelle) and Randall Magwood; his grandchildren, Gaea Kohles-Jones (Dominic), Alexander Kohles, Sincere Magwood, Yashar Magwood, Anahyah Magwood and Tahj Charles; his stepgrandchildren, Tahj Charles, Anahyah Magwood, Yashar Magwood, Sincere Magwood, Alexander Kohles and Gaea Kohles-Jones (Dominic); his great grandchild Azaria Jones; his brothers, Ernest "Tito" Magwood and Harrison Magwood (Gloria); and his close friend Ralph Williamston.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker's Mortuary Chapel (3407 Old Pond Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem-St James United Methodist Church (2419 Bohicket Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455).
