We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Rosemary Donnelly (Brooklyn, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rosemary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosemary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia and William; and her sister Irene. She is survived by: her sister Diane.
In 2020, when the pandemic struck, Rosemary was working from 8:30 to 4:30, commuting by subway from Bay Ridge to Grand Central in the heart of Manhattan. And somehow she managed to manipulate and devour the New York Times during her long commute on those crowded subway trains!
