Shirley Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Smith in Brooklyn, New York, born in Southampton, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Bunn Dyson and Charles McFarland Dyson; her grandparents, Ada M. Bunn and James Gilbert Bunn; her great-grandparents, Caroline Cuffee Bunn and Russell Bunn; her husband Elmer Francis Smith; her son Peter; and her grandson Steven.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Joseph; her daughters-in-law, Ana, Diane, Lisa and Karen; and her goddaughter Denise Anderson. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
