She is survived by: her former spouse Muhammed Aziz; her sister Helen; her spouse Lee Bogan; her children, Renee Overton of Columbia, SC, Ronald Overton (Rosemary) of Queens, NY, Reginald Overton of Brooklyn, NY, Robin Overton-Ellis (Lee) of Queens, NY, Elizabeth Overton-Caldwell of Conyers, GA, Cynthia Edmond (Robert) of Roselle, NJ and Lorenzo Bogan (Nicole) of Brooklyn, NY.; her grandchildren, Deshawn, Brandon, Gregory, Tyrell, Brian, Diamond, Brittney, Tiana, Xavier, Myah, Elijah and Leenah; her stepgrandchildren, Paris, Mia and Raven; and her brother Harold Stevens Jr. (Willa-Mae). She is also survived by four great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Church of God in Christ on the Hill (137 Buffalo Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
