He was predeceased by: his father James Riches; and his brothers, James Riches and Roger Riches. He is survived by: his mother May Riches; his daughters, Jamie Riches (Mary Clancy) and Elizabeth Riches; his granddaughter Alice Clancy-Riches; and his siblings, Marjorie, Beatrice, Eileen and John.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McLaughlin & Sons Funeral Home (9620 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (245 Prospect Park W, Brooklyn, NY 11215).
