With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vincenzo Valerio (Brooklyn, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vincenzo shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vincenzo farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Giovanna; his children, Rosalia, Peter, Giovanni and Paula; his daughters-in-law, Pauline and Jillian Valerio; and his grandchildren, Gabriella and Giorgio Catanzaro.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scarpaci Funeral Home (1401 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Athanasius Church (6120 Bay Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11204). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232).
