He was predeceased by: his parents, John Guthy and Mary Guthy (Purcell); his brothers, John and Peter; and his wife Marilyn E. Guthy.
He is survived by: his sister Mary O'Reilly; and his brothers-in-law, William and Rick Guthy. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
