She was predeceased by: her parents, Berne Newman and Cella Newman (Tubbs); and her siblings, Paul Newman, Donald Newman, Oliver Newman, Richard Newman, Bernice Newman and Lorraine Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Benjamin; and her son James C. Benjamin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home (137 Main St, Candor, NY 13743). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Riverside Cemetery - Lounsberry (54 E River Rd, Nichols, NY 13812).
