She was predeceased by: her parents, Constance J. Geiger and Anna Mae Geiger (Quinn); her son Mark J. Hoard; and her sisters, Mary Beth Osbourne and Patricia Kowalski.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy (Marc Tellier) of Maryland, Kelly (Grant Hauber) of Buffalo and Kristin (Mike Setaro) of Georgia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
