He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Johnston and Evelyn Johnston (Thomas); his siblings, Richard and Dorothy; his grandson Connor Pickreign; and his former wife Linda Johnston (Westurn).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Pickreign; his children, John Johnston of Brushton, Vicki LaClair (Todd) of Westville, Christine Deyah (Timothy Crump) of North Lawrence and Verdonna Snyder of Brusthton; his stepchildren, John Pickreign (Tasha) of Malone and Amanda Pickreign (Johnny Rivera) of Brushton; his siblings, Donald of Bruston, George (Bonnie) of York, Alvin of Brushton, Irene Marise of Brooksville, Judy Henderson of Huntington and Linda Stone (Greg) of Florida; and his foster sister Roslyn Gaetano. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
