She is survived by: her son Manuel Mercado (Rebecca); her stepparent Virgen Rodriguez; and her siblings, Maria Rodriguez Ortiz, Elba and Ramon (Leyda Rodriguez). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
