We bid farewell to Alan G. Jerge Sr. of Buffalo, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Alan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Vaarwerk Sr., Donnette Ryan (Don), Kaye Womax (Paul Sr.) and Jan Jerge (Pam). He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Whipkey (Mark), Alan Jerge Jr. and Jason Jerge; his grandchildren, Emersyn, Reese, Alan III, Brennan, Christian, Tamyrah, Gabriella and Lucy; and his sister Sharon Winkler (Howard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227).
Donations may be made in Alan's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter.
