She is survived by: her children, Alma Brown (Clinton), Chris O'Connell (Jeanmarie), Mary Rose Jost (Rick) and Andrew O'Connell (late Rachael); her brother Patrick Duggan (Sue Ellen); her grandchildren, Katherine, Kirsten, Halie, Elise Jost, Tad, Peter, Cullen, Juliette Brown, Som Homphothichak, Kylie, Lily, Erin, Sydnie and Andrew O'Connell; and her great grandchildren, Kavi, Anisah, Betsy, Tommy, Eddie, Miles, Max, Juniper, Charlie, Kade and Levi.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials in Mrs. O'Connell's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Western New York.
