He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol A. Fatta; his children, John D. and Suzanne E. Fatta (Daniel Yost); and his siblings, Robert J. (Camille), Thomas J. (Rosalba Mucciarella) and Michael P. Fatta (Jody Bennett).

Memorial tributes may be made to the Kaleida Health Foundation, Roswell Park Alliance, or the Food Bank of Western New York.
