He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen S. Smardz and Stanley A. Smardz; and his brothers, Theodore (Nancy), Stanley Jr. (late Judith), Florian (Suzzanne), Michael (Helen) and Henry Smardz (Nancy). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
