She was predeceased by: her spouse Lepido Vicioso; her child Zulma Diaz (Edwin); her grandson Hector "Danny"; and her siblings, Noel Alvarez and Luis "Chito" Santana.
She is survived by: her children, Luz Sanchez, Jose Torres (Rita), Hector Lugo and Sandra Nieves (Adalberto); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Rebecca, Moses, Michelle, Michael, Hector Jr., Javier, Shanneska and Kassandra; and her siblings, Luz Alvarez (late William), Daniel Alvarez (Vicky), Iluminada Alvarez, Margarita Santana, Desiderio Alvarez (Margaret), Marta Vasquez (Vincent), Elga Alvarez and Edermiro Alvarez (Zorida). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
