It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aurea E. Alvarez Vicioso (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Lepido Vicioso; her child Zulma Diaz (Edwin); her grandson Hector "Danny"; and her siblings, Noel Alvarez and Luis "Chito" Santana.
She is survived by: her children, Luz Sanchez, Jose Torres (Rita), Hector Lugo and Sandra Nieves (Adalberto); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Rebecca, Moses, Michelle, Michael, Hector Jr., Javier, Shanneska and Kassandra; and her siblings, Luz Alvarez (late William), Daniel Alvarez (Vicky), Iluminada Alvarez, Margarita Santana, Desiderio Alvarez (Margaret), Marta Vasquez (Vincent), Elga Alvarez and Edermiro Alvarez (Zorida). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kolano Funeral Home (396 Amherst St, Buffalo, NY 14207).
