He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia J. (Walsh); his son Matthew Kennedy; his siblings, Betty (late Jerry), Peggy (late Dick), Edward 'Mike' Kennedy (late Carol) and Jane Lyons (Bernard); and his sisters-in-law, Judith Walsh and Margaret "Peggy" Grimaldi (John).
He is survived by: his children, Frances (Eugene), Altermatt, Robert and Paul Kennedy (Sheila); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Alex, Altermatt, Megan, Bobby, Matthew, Patrick and Lauren Kennedy; his siblings, Patricia (late Donald), Clayback, Sharon (Fred), Eileen (Bernard), Majkowski, Eagen and Hornberger; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Brooks (Clyde), Frances Renowden (late William) and Jacob (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
