He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Janczak and Jerry Cannon; and his brother Christopher Szczitka. He is survived by: his daughter Hannah McCarthy-Szczitka; his significant other Kitrina Graves; and his siblings, Christian Flanagan and Dennis Slomba. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Erie County SPCA or the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.
