With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catherine A. Leising (Buffalo, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Catherine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Catherine leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Steve Czopp and Terri Czopp; and her sisters, Laura, Stef and Mary. She was also cherished by her children, her sisters, her parents.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph University Parish (3269 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Hospice Buffalo in Cathy's memory - or better yet, plant something beautiful in your garden and think of her when it blooms.
