He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jonathan Whyte and Steven Whyte (Courtney); his grandchildren, Lincoln and Cordelia Whyte; his parents, David Whyte and Gladys Walters (Trey); his siblings, Sheila Altemus and David Whyte (Kim); his nieces and nephews, Jessica Altemus, Jenna Altemus, Jeffrey Altemus (Lynae), David Whyte (Leah), Joseph Whyte (Olivia) and Daniel Whyte; Angel Baty.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 7:15 PM to 7:30 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home - Amherst (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1990 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14208). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:15 PM.
