She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Coleman and Lillian Coleman; and her siblings, Rose Coleman, Betty Sims, Hannah Hailstock, Herman, Nathaniel, Kither, Melvin, Frank and James Coleman.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly C. Mays; her grandson Kevin II; her siblings' children, Marcia, Patricia, Courtney and Eric; her great grandchild Kevin III (Mannie); her son Kevin A. Coleman Sr. (Maria); her grandson Kevin A. Coleman II (Ulysscia); her great grandchild Kevin A. Coleman III; her siblings, Claudine E. Reid (late James), Kenneth Coleman (Evie) and Fanita M. Ross (late Eugene); and her sister-in-law Penelope Coleman.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (184 Goodell St, Buffalo, NY 14204). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
