He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Nelson; his children, Ashley Nelson-Kines and Christopher Nelson (Pricilla); his siblings, Charles Nelson Jr. (Diane), David Nelson (Lynn), Jacquelyn Zagst (Randy) and Christy Michaels (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Mary O'Mara, Margaret DeMarco (John) and John Roche. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
