He was predeceased by: his parents, John Czajka and Bertha; his wife Dorothy; his daughter Karen Hoddick; and his sister Adella Bogdan (Edward).

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Pataki (Joe), Thomas (Lisa) and Mary Lou; his grandchildren, Tina Hoddick (Jerry), Todd Hoddick (Kristin), Courtney and Colton; his great grandchildren, Joe, Kinsya, Brianna, Jerry, Mason and Logan; and his brother Ronald (Lois). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
