He was predeceased by: his father Thomas J. Leahy; and his mother-in-law Patricia J. Roberts. He is survived by: his spouse Kerry Leahy (Roberts); his children, Allison and Benjamin Leahy; his mother Peggy Leahy (Fitzgerald); and his siblings, William (Margaret), Patrick (Nancy), Eileen Stack, Timothy (Barbara) and Susan Leahy (Peter Kinsella). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Buffalo.
