She was predeceased by: her parents, Terry Nathaniel Winters and Virgie Neely; and her siblings, Mildred Haney (Frank) and John Winters (Carol). She is survived by: her sister Mary Johnson; her children, Keith (late Tracey Ross), Kevin Ross and Daryl Ross; her granddaughter Victoria Lindsay; her great grandchild Ava Francesca Ramos; her grandson Demarcus Tall; her cousin Charley Fisher III (Denise); her niece Deborah Williams; and her great-niece Elondra Williams.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, she was active at the YMCA, drawing portraits in the senior room and staying fit alongside people a third her age.
