With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy R. Sobczyk (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Benjamin S. Sobczyk; her children, Patricia Chrzanowski (David), Peter (Barbara), John (Sandra), James and Mary Mulrenin (James); her grandchildren, Brenda Heizenrater (Tim), Ryan Mulrenin, David Mulrenin (Jessica), Charles Graziadei (Camille) and Marcie Graziadei (Eric Gasbarro); her great grandchild Jonathan Mulrenin; her siblings, Jean Jarmusz (Stephen), Henry, Casimer, Edward (Dolores) and John Gzik (Melva); and her mother Confraternity. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

If desired, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice.

“Our condolences go out to the whole Sobczyk family. We did not have a great deal of contact with Dorothy but any time we would see her she was always a delight to talk with. We are sorry to say that we will not be able to attend the Service because of Covid and Jan's chronic Kidney Condition but our thoughts will be with you!! John and Jan Lavrich”
