With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas A. Cornelius (Buffalo, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sue H. Cornelius; and his siblings, Connie Kirkpatrick and Ted Cornelius. He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marie Giliforte (Joseph John) and Laura Jean Horsey (Timothy); and his grandchildren, Laura Vanesa and Juan Esteban Giliforte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harris Hill Chapel (8440 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
