He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gross and Hattie Rader Gross; his wife Judith A. Harris; his granddaughter Alisha Williams; and his brothers, James, George and Ronald.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas A. Gross, Jr. of Cuba and David Gross of Allegany; his great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Williams and Serenity Jane Williams; and his siblings, Fred Gross of Clarksville, Joe "Pete" Gross of Cuba, Mark "Bones" Gross (Rhonda) of Cuba, Bonita "Bonnie" Pascucci of Olean, Debra Hemphill of Olean, Cindy Johnston of Olean and Anne Coliccho of California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
