He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Kowalski; his parents, Stanley B. Kowalski and Isabelle Kowalski; and his brothers, Calvin Kowalski (late Theresa) and Arnold Kowalski (late Deena).

He is survived by: his children, Eddie Kowalski Jr., Thomas Kowalski (late Deborah), Lori Beiter (Norbert) and Richard Kowalski; and his grandchildren, Korey Mooney, Kara Mooney, Anthony Kowalski, Joseph Beiter, Patrick Beiter (Viktoria), Katrina Beiter and Amy Sicurella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
