He was predeceased by: his son Erik Szewczyk. He is survived by: his son Martin; his grandchildren, Roland Webster and Melony Tarr (Gary); his great grandchildren, Adeline Rose and Lyla LeeAnn Tarr; his sister Kathleen Benedict (late Joseph); his nephew Joseph (Moneka); and his niece Annmarie Benedict.
