He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. and Mary Koessler, Jr.; and his brother John Koessler, III (Ellen). He is survived by: his close friends, Melissa Ferraro and Bandit; his significant other Melissa Ferraro; and his siblings, Mary Clare Smith (Ronald), Carol Koessler, William Koessler (Molly) and Barbara Koessler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and Missy's children.
