With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francine M. Golonka (Buffalo, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Francine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her uncle Frank J.. She is survived by: her husband John A. Golonka; her sons, Jason Golonka and Matthew Golonka; her sisters, Kathie Saveliev (Michael) and Susan Campanella Roney (Steven); and her sister-in-law Janice Pierce (Jeff). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Delaware Chapel (1132 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14209). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Church (885 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst, NY 14226). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
