He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hargis Hampton and Helen Hampton; his wife Jill Hampton; his daughters, Holly (Chris Smith) and Jennifer (Davy Snipes); his grandchildren, Lenzie, Rebecca, Emma, Parker and Cody; his great grandchildren, Jillian and Harper; his sister Priscilla (Jim Kirschbaum); his brother-in-law Robert (Rebecca Raitt); and his nieces and nephews, Derek (Arwen Guida), Cara (Dennis Donnelly), Alyson (Chris Driggers), Travis (Erin Raitt) and Alexis (David Ingram).
Donations made to Community Hospice or to the American Cancer Society in Gary's name would be treasured.
