He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Trotter Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Norma Brooks; his child Jocelyn Marie Trotter; his grandchild Malia Marie Brown (Mother Norma Brooks); his sisters, Sherri and Dawn Trotter; his nieces and nephews, Sharde Singletary, Brianna Trotter, Shaenia Singletary, Naja Barnett, Verdell Singletary III (Octavia), Vincent Singletary and Jaquan Trotter; his stepbrothers, Howard, Napolean, Pete and Lawerence Brooks; and his great-nephews, Isaiah, Elias and Kobe Singletary. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Today I thought I might check to see if he died. I am so saddened that he did. Could someone from the family give me a call. 716.239.7388. I'd like to know more about his passing. I can honestly say that I loved him. He was the nicest person i have ever met and i told people that about him all the time. Please call me. Thank you.””
