We announce the death of Gerard T. Mazurkiewicz Jr. of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 56. Gerard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Mazurkiewicz. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mazurkiewicz; his children, Jacob (Keely Wright), Allison Rose Mazurkiewicz and Mack; his parents, Gerard Mazurkiewicz and Barbara Mazurkiewicz Sr.; his sister Elizabeth Manganaro; and his siblings-in-law, Megan Kuebler, Dr. Damian Zynda (Robert Muhlnickel), Robin Schlifke (Thomas) and Robert Zynda (late Leslie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends, and fellow Firefighters.
