With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene Lukaszonas (Buffalo, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Irene left this world on December 10, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Irene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Irene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Lukaszonas; her sons, Paul Lukaszonas (Laura Zorn), Marc Lukaszonas and Robert Lukaszonas; and her daughter-in-law Janine Lukaszonas. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (200 St Gregory Ct, Buffalo, NY 14221).
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
