He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Gardner and Ralph Gardner; and his sister Patricia Quigley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Denz; his children, Scott Gardner (Deborah), Laura Rabadi (Nashat) and Richard Gardner; his grandchildren, Christina Magnuson (Josh), Anthony Gardner (Jessica), Taylor Krasinski (David), Morgan Rabadi (Paul Downie), Madison Rabadi, Rachel Gardner and Joseph Gardner; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Easton and Michael. He is also survived by several brother and sister-in-Iaw's, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
