He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentino Vigiano and Mary Vigiano. He is survived by: his sibling Val Vigiano (Sherry); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Regan (Gregory) and Lauren Furtado (late Brett); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, BrettValentino and Carmela Furtado.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James' honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
