With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Donald Waugh (Buffalo, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia M. Waugh; his parents, Donald Waugh and Marion Waugh; and his sister Candace. He is survived by: his children, Trisha Fronczak (Paul), Jonathan, Sr. Waugh (Jill) and Bradley, Sr. Waugh (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Katherine, Jonathan, Jr., Elizabeth, Chloe, Patrick, Ryan and Bradley, Jr.; and his siblings, Suzanne, John, Judy, Christine and Joe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (200 St Gregory Ct, Buffalo, NY 14221).

If desired, contributions may be made in James' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.
