James Mehnert Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mehnert (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may James find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Mehnert (Jackson); his children, Derek (Lori), Dorian (Maureen) and Darryl (Kat); his stepson Adam Conners-Fecio (Chris); his former wife Dorothy (Dayton); and his siblings, Robert, Karl and Barbaba (Llamas). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association of Western New York.
