The passing of James P. Shea (Buffalo, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Shea and Mary Shea (Griffin); his sibling Thomas Shea; and his friend Thomas. He is survived by: his close friend Bill Carey (James Molloy); his friend Michael Flaherty; his wife Mary Shea (O'Mara); and his children, Kate Kennon (Tim), Mary Molly, Elizabeth Sisk (Edward), James (Adele), Brendan (Elaudy), Clare, Daniel, John, Therese Harasymiw (Mark), Patrick (Sarah) and Kevin (Michelle). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Shea requested that any donations be made to Sloan Comfort Care Home, a local not-for-profit end-of-life care home, or his alma mater, Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School.
