With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanette Bertell (Buffalo, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeanette left this world on August 21, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Jeanette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeanette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Twohey Bertell; and her brother James Meccay. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth M. Franke (David), John T. Bertell, Jr. (Gabriele), Kathleen B. Schaefer (David), Paul J. Bertell (Wendy) and Peter J. Bertell; and her brother Gordon Meccay. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons.
