It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jensen Alliyah Daniels (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Jonathan Daniels. She is survived by: her mother Janessa E. Givens Daniels; her sister Jillian Alicia-Marie Daniels; her grandmothers, Mary J. Daniels and Alicia D. Givens; her aunts and uncles, Vincent Daniels (Theresa), Kenneth Scales (Kiki), Dr. Melissa E. Givens of Claremont, CA and Alexa J. Givens Wajed (Edreys); her cousins, Eman, Emeka Wajed and Kara Jillian Brown; and her close friends, Maya Amour Owens, Alana Cheree Leveritte, Camrin Celaya Brown, Daneva Moncrieffe and Joy Mariah Owens. She is also survived by friends and relatives.
During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Jensen worked for the Erie County Department of Health, first as a Contact Tracer and then as a Testing Coordinator.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to scholarships being established in memory of Jensen, her sister, and her father.
