He was predeceased by : his parents, Boyd Robertson and Joan Robertson; and his brother Robert Benson. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Robertson; his parents-in-law, Douglas Miller and Audrey Seaman; his siblings, Lisa Hodgins, Earl Benson (Linda Stefaniak) and Joseph Robertson (Tina); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Miller (Bob) and Joan Wilde. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
